Brave is one of the safest browsers on the market today. It blocks privacy-invasive ads & trackers. It blocks third-party data storage. It protects from browser fingerprinting. It upgrades every webpage possible to secure https connections. And it does all this by default.
Task list
1. Download the Brave browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and
iOS.
2. Click the BAT icon in the address bar, select your country, and accept the Brave Rewards Terms of Service.
3. Click Connect account and select where you want to receive $BAT, either through a supported custodial account or the native Brave Wallet for self-custody.
4. From Rewards settings, enable Brave Ads and adjust ad frequency, types, and categories. Ads appear as notifications or native placements. Clicking ads is not required, and Rewards are paid out monthly.
5. Once enabled, $BAT accrues automatically during everyday browsing. If Rewards are turned off later, Brave continues blocking ads and trackers by default.
